Paddock, Keates weigh-in for Walsall clash

Champion, Paddock, weighed in at 9st 13lb 6oz whilst challenger, Keates, weighed-in at 9st 13lb.

“I couldn’t ask for a better camp,” Paddock told “I’m on weight, fit, feeling strong and ready to go tomorrow. Andy is a good lad but I’m confident.

“It’s arguably the biggest fight of my pro career to date. He’s coming to take the belt off me but I’m the man to beat; I’m the champion.”

“I can’t wait,” added Keates. “Training has been mint. It will be a good night of boxing and it will come down to what happens tomorrow. I’m confident. I’ll test him and plan to be taking the belt back home with me.”

Standard tickets for Black Country Boxing’s ‘Home Turf’ show on Friday, 4th September at Walsall FC are £30 and will be available to purchase on the door at the Stadium Suite, Banks’s Stadium, WS1 4SA.

Old Hill lightweight, Manny Zaber, is also in action as he takes on Tamworth’s Matt Seawright over six rounds.

Ludlow light middleweight, Craig Morris, completes the card as he steps in with Italy’s Victor Edagha.
