Stourbridge boxer, Steven Pearce, headlines Black Country Boxing’s seven-fight show at Walsall Football Club next month.
The show, in association with Hatton Boxing, takes place in the Stadium Suite, Banks’s Stadium, on Saturday, 10th October.
‘The Fierce’ steps up preparations ahead of his English Title tilt later this year. The 30 year-old is set to challenge current holder, Adam Little, at the Blackpool Hilton on Saturday, 12th December and warms up for his title shot with a six-round contest.
Also in action are Ricky Hatton signed duo, Sam Evans and Reuben Arrowsmith.
Welterweight Evans, from Wednesbury, will be making his professional debut alongside Market Harborough-based fellow welterweight Arrowsmith, who will also enjoy his first taste of life in the paid ranks.
Old Hill lightweight, Manny Zaber, will take part in his third professional contest whilst Ludlow light middleweight, Craig Morris, is also in action. Midlands Area Cruiserweight King, Chris Keane, also makes his long-awaited comeback. The Walsall pugilist has been out of action since damaging his bicep in June 2014.
Stoke light welterweight, Kieron McLaren, complete the card.
“It promises to be another great night of boxing,” manager, Errol Johnson told www.uko-boxing.com. “A host of local boxers will feature and it’s great to be working with Hatton Boxing. Sam and Reuben are both exciting prospects with bright futures ahead of them.
“Manny, Craig and Kieron are all undefeated and Steven Pearce will be looking to win in convincing fashion ahead of his English Title showdown with Adam Little in December.
“It’s great to have Chris Keane back too. He’s a real force at cruiserweight and will be looking to make up for lost time.”
Tickets, priced at £30 and £60 Ringside, are available by calling the Walsall FC Box Office on 01922 651 414/416 or 07875 653 842.
