Results from Ukraine: Usyk makes light work of Muller

The 28 year-old Olympic gold medallist took out South African Jonny Muller in just three rounds at the Sport Palace in Kiev to improve his one hundred percent knockout run to eight.

Usyk is on the fast-track to a world title shot in 2016 and had no problems dispatching Muller when referee Ingo Barrabas stepped in right at the end of the third session.

Also on the bill in Kiev, Super welterweight Khusein Baysangurov made it four wins in a row with a unanimous decision through eight rounds over Nodar Robakidze, whilst undefeated featherweight Oleg Malinovskiy did likewise in his bout against Bahyt Abdurahimov to move to 16-0.

There were early victories for Petro Ivanov, Oleksandr Spyrko and Aram Faniyan, whilst Denys Berinchyk made a successful super lightweight debut in stopping Tarik Madni in the fourth.
