Look: Mayweather prepares for retirement bout with Berto, expects a pressure fight

Floyd Mayweather allowed the media in this weeks as the pound for pound king put in the work for his upcoming retirement fight with Andre Berto on September 12 in Las Vegas.

The current welterweight and super welterweight champion aims to make it 49-0 next month and says Berto brings a lot to the table despite grumbles over his choice of opponent.

“Berto is a tough competitor. He’ll try to put pressure on me throughout the fight. A good jab can work well, but he’ll be throwing lots of combinations. My fast fight against Paquiao was more like a chess game. This time will be like Chinese checkers, a fast match. I have sparred a lot at the gym. I have like 10 sparring partners,” said Mayweather.
