Jamie Kavanagh’s first fight under MGM’s management has now be confirmed for September 26th on the Frank Buglioni world title show.
British super-middleweight Frank Buglioni will challenge for the WBA title and Kavanagh will be on the undercard at Wembly arena. The show including Kavanagh’s fight will be shown live on BoxNation. Kavanagh’s opponent is yet to be announced.
“I’m looking forward to the fight,” said Kavanagh “Looking forward to fighting in the UK and starting the next chapter of my career. It will be great to be on such a big show and I look forward to getting a win and raising my profile.”
MGM Management said: “We promised Jamie we would get him busy straight away on big shows and this is just the start of big things to come for him.”
MGM are also very pleased to announce that they have added a real Irish boxing character to their ever growing stable as Sean “Big Sexy” Turner has signed a management contract with MGM.
Already on the line-up for “Lights out at the Plaza” on the 28th August, Turner will be fighting his sixth professional fight.
The Irish Heavyweight is an explosive puncher and is well known for his aggressive, all-action and hard-hitting style. He remains undefeated and he has won 4 out of 5 of his pro fights with KO. His first ever professional fight he won by TKO with the very first punch.
