Michael Ramabeletsa’s career has been a unique one. To some he is a journeyman, to many he is not. After fighting the best around and in weights above on short notice, Ramabeletsa has now settled under the guidance of Johnney Roye and MGM at JR’s gym in Preston, where he aims to push on with his career targeting titles in the near future.
“I was never a journeyman, I was mismanaged, I was taking fights against heavy guys on a couple days notice. Things have changed under Johnney, that isn’t happening anymore and people will see my improvements because of it. I feel I can fight for the Commonwealth title at Bantam or Super Bantamweight this year”.
Tricky Ramabeletsa, who has knocked off some good names in the past including Ross Burkinshaw, Ash Lane and Paul Economides, is out to show that these victories are a proof that he can mix it at title level and feels those opportunities will come under the management of the MGM.
Magic Mike spoke on how his training had been going ahead oh his upcoming outing on September 12th at Preston’s Evogue Nightclub.
“Training has been goin superbly at JR’s gym. I have been sparring top class fighters like Malcolm Klassen and Tshifhiwa Munyai. I feel great”.
Michael Ramabeletsa looks to continue his winning ways as he is part of a top quality bill in Preston which is topped by Tshifhiwa Munyai’s IBF International title clash with Oscar Chauke, a fight that is also a final eliminator for the Commonwealth title. Former 3 time world champion Malcolm Klassen graces British shores for the first time in nearly a decade as he looks to set up an all African showdown with Ghanian Richard Commey.
The bill also features local prospects Liam Conroy, Ash Peyton, Lyndon Newman, March Leach and Matty Clarkson.
