Emiliano Marsili faces Gamaliel Diaz for WBC silver belt
Italian Emiliano Marsili and Mexican, Gamaliel “Platano” Diaz, will fight with the WBC Silver lightweight title on the line on August 1st in Rome, Italy.
Diaz (38-12-3, 17 KO´s), who is already in Italy, has vowed to claim the vacant belt when the pair trade punches at the Stadio Comunale Cetorelli: “I’m here to win. I’m going to take this opportunity and I will conquer the WBC Silver title.”
However, Marsili has an undefeated record of 31 victories and 1 draw- 14 of these victories have been by the way of KO. Diaz, aged 34, who’s four years younger, has been a boxer for the half of his life as he made his pro debut when he was only 17. He has a record of 38 wins, with 17 KO´s, 12 defeats and 3 draws.
The fight will be broadcast to all Latin America via ESPN, in Italy through DEEJAY TV and in Poland through FIGHTKLUB.
