‘I wonder how Floyd feels being beat by a woman for once’ – Rousey

MMA and movie star Ronda Rousey landed another shuddering blow on the reputation of Floyd Mayweather Jr this Wednesday night after publicly denouncing the pound for pound king’s previous convictions for a second time.

Rousey, 28, was taking to the red carpet after pushing out the likes of Mayweather and Gennady Golovkin to win the ESPY’s Fighter of the Year award when she launched a verbal assault on boxing’s number one star.

When asked about her win, Rousey stated: ‘I wonder how Floyd feels being beat by a woman for once,’ obviously a direct hit at Mayweather’s past jail time for a domestic battery charge against his ex-wife.

Mayweather served two months in the summer of 2012 after being found guilty of complaints made against him by the mother of his children and Rousey had already slated ‘Money’ in previous rant before firing more verbal jabs this week.

A star of The Expendables 3, Entourage – The Movie and currently Mile 22, Rousey has a formidable record in UFC using her trademark armbar submission which has since seen her, like Floyd, make the transition from fighter to A-list celebrity.

This latest outburst has again caused ripples around, not only the sporting world but the entertainment world also, and will only deepen the animosity between the two which has already resulted in Rousey calling out Mayweather to fight.
