MGM are pleased to announce the signing of two further management contracts this week with two Liverpool lads Nathan Brough and James Metcalf.
31-year old Brough had an impressive amateur career spanning almost 12 years and since turning pro in 2007 has only lost once. Last year he won the Central Area super lightweight title but has since moved to welter- weight. Brough is keen to get fighting again and since visiting MGM last February, he is sure he has made the right decision.
“I am really pleased to be joining MGM, they are signing some real talent and it’s nice to be a part of it,” said Nathan. “They are the fastest rising management company and what I need to get active and to start rebuilding my profile.” Brough is looking to start training with Danny Vaughan and hoping to be in the ring again around October time.
James (JJ) Metcalf has enjoyed an undefeated pro-career and is back in the ring in two weeks-time in Ellesmere Port. His training is going well and he thinks that a move to MGM will only do good, “I feel like this is just what I need to further my career, it’s a genuine opportunity” Metcalf said. Although yet to visit the gym in Marbella, he is looking forward to coming out to see the facilities and to do some quality sparring. James currently trains in Derry Mathews gym in Liverpool with Georgy Vaughan.
MGM Management said; “We are delighted to have signed both of these boxers. Nathan is a boxer we know well and we want to get him busy straight away and fighting for titles as soon as we can. JJ is an enormous talent with a huge future, we don’t think it will be too long before his name is on everybody’s lips.”
