At 48-0, the 38 year-old is just one bout away from equalling Rocky Marciano’s undefeated retirement record but is still yet to confirm whether he will go for 50-0.

In his last contest, Mayweather earned $200m plus from a mega-fight with Manny Pacquiao and as usual came away with his arms raised.

Mayweather will return to the scene of his recent victory over the ‘Pacman’ at the MGM Grand on September 12, although surprisingly is still yet to name his opponent.

Andre Berto, Karim Mayfield and Amir Khan are all said to be in the frame as Mayweather ponders whether to fight for free on CBS after years on PPV.
