Keith Thurman’s victory over Luis Collazo saw the WBA welterweight champion push into the WBN Pound for Pound Top 50 for the first time in his career.

The big-punching American is well on his way to a top ten place in the future on current form. Thurman is now only behind Floyd Mayweather, Danny Garcia, Timothy Bradley, and Amir Khan at 147lbs.

Long-reigning light flyweight titleholder Donnie Nietes also made a charge up the rankings with his latest defense of the WBO belt. The Filipino has now moved up 14 places since the beginning of the year following two knockout victories.

Despite scoring a first-round knockout over Francesco Pianeta, there is still no place for two-time WBA heavyweight champion Ruslan Chagaev.
