Granat put his opponent down twice in his seventh pro fight to finish in top form. After all, Garnet had prepared for his first fight in 10 months with the WBA champion Ruslan Chagaev.

In the ring, it took only a few seconds until Granat struck the Haris Radmilovic to the ground. “Adrian caught him with a right hook just behind the ear,” said coach Bülent Baser on his fighter’s quick success.

The referee allowed the fight to go on, but Radmilovic went to the ground again and was only able to get up with the help of others.

With this victory, the Swede celebrated his first win since he defeated former Tyson conqueror Danny Williams in October 2014.

Earlier, 21-year-old Nikola Milacic made an appearance in front of the 800 spectators at the Landkost Arena and after just 20 seconds, he caught Zeljko Bojic with a right hook to the head to finish the fight.

“Nikola has adapted to the high standard of our training group. In Hamburg Gym he has sparred against Christian Hammer,” said coach Bülent Baser. “But he still has enough time to become a full-grown heavyweight.”

With a height of 1.96 meters, Milacic launched his career as a cruiserweight where the previous day he weighed 90.6kg on the scale. Milacic’s promoter wants the future to be at heavyweight.

“Nikola will not get a title fight this year, but he has shown that he can now fight at European level,” said Ceylan.

The event was organized in Bestensee in cooperation between the Wiking Boxteam, the Berliner Winfried Spiering and the EC-Boxpromotion.
