MGM’s Jamie Conlan has no doubts that he is more than ready to beat Junior Granados in his challenge for the Vacant WBO Intercontinental Super-Flyweight Championship.
“I feel in amazing condition, Danny Vaughan and Taff have pushed me to the limits in MGM Marbella, no stone has been left unturned,” said Conlan.
“I am genuinely excited about Saturday night, Dublin will be loud and Junior Granados will not expect to be in a cauldron like it.
“Right now I am just relishing the opportunity to top such an exciting bill. The hard work is done now, I’ve just got to enjoy myself on Saturday and get the ball rolling in thi new chapter of my career!”
Also fighting this weekend, and for the first time under MGM Management is Navid Mansouri, who is defending his English super welterweight title on Saturday night at the Magna Centre in Rotherham.
The ‘Derby’ title fight will see Mansouri up against the undefeated Sam Sheedy.
Mansouri has been put through his paces with trainer Oliver Harrison in some punishing training sessions, a conditioning regime and some exceptional sparring with his stable mate Martin Murray at his training base in Manchester.
“I am looking forward to the fight and can’t wait to get in there. I feel really fit and strong and I am ready to put on a show now!” said Mansouri.
