Live scorecards on WBN tonight: Smith v Rebrasse / Fielding v Vera

Phil Jay 26/06/2015

World Boxing News will be scoring live on site tonight as Callum Smith aims to move one step closer to a world title shot in his hometown.

The undefeated 25 year-old takes on former European champion Christopher Rebrasse in a contest that will see the winner claim the vacant WBC Silver title.

Smith or Frenchman Rebrasse could be in line to face whoever comes out on top in the forthcoming clash between full champion Badou Jack and George Groves with a victory at the Echo Arena.

In chief support, Rocky Fielding will be up against his toughest test yet against solid American Bryan Vera, whilst two-time world title challenger Tony Bellew continues his march towards a recognised belt at 200lbs against late replacement Ivica Bacurin.

Also featuring on the bill is three-time world middleweight title challenger Martin Murray who moves up to 168lbs on the back of his gutsy display against Gennady Golovkin in February.

Murray left South African promoters Golden Gloves at the end of his three-fight deal and makes his debut under Eddie Hearn’s Matchroom team in Liverpool
