The show, at Walsall Town Hall on Saturday, 4th July, features a host of the Black Country’s favourite fighters.
Walsall duo, Luke Paddock and Dan Breeze, are in action. Midlands Area Light Welterweight Champion Paddock takes part in a four-round contest as he sets his sights on a maiden defence of his strap at the start of the new season.
Fellow Bloxwich boxer, Breeze, makes a welcome first appearance in his hometown. The middleweight will also compete in a four-round contest.
“It’s great to have Luke and Dan on the same show,” explained Errol Johnson. “They are both from Walsall, in fact they’re both from Bloxwich. To have them appearing in their hometown is great for them and great for local fight fans.”
Stourbridge’s former Midlands Area Welterweight Champion, Steven Pearce, is also in action. Pearce has his sights set on another tilt at the Midlands strap and will be an interested spectator seven days after his fight when current Area Champion, Rob Hunt, who Pearce beat at the town hall in 2013, defends his strap in Cannock.
Wolverhampton middleweight, Ben Wilkes, takes on Birmingham-based Fabrice Mpata whilst Ludlow light middleweight, Craig Morris, steps in with Viktor Drizzlionoks.
Redditch super middleweight, Carl Dickens, Dickens will be looking to bounce back from a first career defeat, at the fists of Nicky Jenman, back in February when he takes on Yorkshireman, Dean Croft.
Dudley Heavyweight, Matthew Gordon, debuts against Leeds’ James Oliphant whilst West Bromwich super featherweight, Jack Summers, also makes his pro bow when he takes on Swindon’s Joe Beeden.
