Don King talks up Deontay Wilder v Eric Molina as only he can

King, who promoted Muhammad Ali v George Foreman back in 1974, gave his views on the fight which sees overwhelming favourite Wilder face underdog Molina in what many believe will be a one-sided and early victory for the champion.

“We’re going to have a terrific fight here in Alabama on Saturday night,” predicted King.

“Deontay Wilder has proven to be a tremendous fighter and he last proved it on January 17. I’m certain that Wilder doesn’t mean to transfer the belt like Bermane Stiverne did.”

On Molina’s chances, King added: “Texans have an out of the box way of thinking, they just take what they want. You’re going to have an unstoppable force against the unmovable object. Only one will win.”

Wilder v Molina headlines an action-packed bill at the Bartow Arena that also sees former IBO super featherweight champion Jose Pedraza face Andrey Klimov and Ivan Redkach battle Dejan Zlaticanin in a WBC lightweight title final eliminator.
