Priory Park boxing stars, Luke Paddock and Ryan Aston, have been added to Black Country Boxing’s July shows.

The duo will feature in Walsall and Cannock on 4th and 11th July respectively.

Bloxwich’s Paddock has been added to ‘Independence Day’ at Walsall Town Hall alongside Stourbridge’s former Midlands Area Welterweight Champion, Steven Pearce, and fellow Bloxwich banger, Dan Breeze.

The Midlands Area Light Welterweight Champion was due to feature in Wolverhampton at the weekend but, after challenger Chris Truman pulled out, Paddock was then laid low with a virus. Now, fully recovered, the hometown hero will take part in a ‘keep busy’ fight before defending his title later this year.

Wolverhampton middleweight, Ben Wilkes, Ludlow light middleweight, Craig Morris, and Redditch super middleweight, Carl Dickens, also feature alongside debutants, (Dudley Heavyweight) Martin Gordon and (West Bromwich super featherweight) Jack Summers.

Fellow Priory Park fighter, Dudley lightweight, Les Byfield, completes the line up in Walsall on 4th July.

Tickets, priced at £30 and £60 Ringside, are available from Walsall Town Hall Box Office on 0845 111 2900.

Aston meanwhile will be hoping to bounce back after losing to Jason Welborn on Saturday. The Dudley pugilist lost a close decision in his attempt to wrestle the Midlands Area Light Middleweight Title from Welborn’s grasp.

Aston is joined in Cannock by Stafford’s Rob Hunt who will make a first defence of his Midlands Area Welterweight Title against Sleaford’s Amir Unsworth.

Swadlincote’s former amateur star, Zach Parker, is chief support at the Chase Leisure Centre on 11th July.

Halesowen’s unbeaten super middleweight, Lennox Clarke, is also in action alongside Tipton super featherweight, Lee Glover, Birmingham featherweight, Sean Davis and Wolverhampton welterweight, Sid Bowater.

Stoke light welterweight, Kieron McLaren, Cheltenham light heavyweight, Scott Gibbins Jr, and Iran lightweight, Alex Dilmaghani, are also in action.

Wolverhampton cruiserweight, Joshua Burke, completes the card in what will be his professional debut.

Tickets, priced at £30 and £50 Ringside, are available by calling The Chase Box Office on 01543 504 065.
