Wanheng Menayothin moves to 38-0 with latest WBC title defense

Undefeated Thai Wanheng Menayothin (38-0, 13KOs), who’s the World Boxing Council minimumweight Champion, successfully defended the title in Bangkok on Tuesday by KO’ing Filipino Jerry Tomogdan (17-6-3, 9KOs) in the ninth round.

This was his second defence of his WBC title which he conquered when defeating Mexican Oswaldo Novoa on November 6th.

This performance confirmed Wanheng as one of the most talented current Champions, and his prowess as arguably the best minimumweight in the entire World.

The fight was broadcast live to all of Thailand via Channel 7.
