Chamberlain won the four-round match on points. He boxed to win with a good combination and at a good pace. He bloodied Grainger’s nose and was in command of the fight the whole way through.
The first round he used to warm up as the fight started much sooner than expected but this didn’t seem to stop him.
Chamberlain was very happy with the result, ever his enthusiastic self, he said ” It was amazing, a really competitive fight. He came at me and I had to deal and adapt to what he had and I did that successfully. It was a great learning fight with a person who really came to win.”
It is rumoured that Isaac Chamberlain will be fighting again on 1st August. So watch this space.
