KYLE ‘TANK’ TEER AND SAMMY ‘STICKY BOMB’ WILLIAMS ARE ON A COLLISION COURSE which is set to erupt on the TGW & Smithy Bring the Big Fight’s 10 card on June 27.

The two likable local lightweights will lock horns in a three round feature bout that promoter Brendon Smith believes will be one of the fights of the night.

“I love this fight,” Smith said.

“To be honest I’ve tried to put this together on a number of occasions in the past but for one reason or another the cards didn’t fall right – but now they have.

“Styles make fights and Kyle and Sammy are made for each other.

“Kyle Teer is renowned for his crowd pleasing all action style.

“Sammy Williams is one of the real quiet achievers in Smithy’s TGW gym and he too likes to come forward so this one will be exciting.

“Toowoomba vs Warwick, the tank vs the sticky bomb, it will be explosive,” Smith said.

In other exciting under card news – Jamie Hilt, who was one of the most impressive performers on the corporate card in March will make his pro debut against Junior Ese in a three round super welterweight contest.

Rosewood’s Olaf Olsen will take on Quinton Carey in a three round cruiserweight bout.

Meanwhile Toowoomba’s Brent Rice is also confirmed for the card with an opponent still to be announced.

Herman Ene-Purcell will feature in his first title bout taking on Joel Clifton for the Queensland Heavyweight belt and Darren Askew meets undefeated Nerang prospect Matt Casboult in an exciting six round super lightweight bout.

Opponents are still to be announced for Kris George, Will Young and Jack Asis.

“We have the card locked away and all of the opponents secured and on Tuesday we will have a huge announcement regarding opponents for Kris George and Will Young,” Brendon Smith said.

They’re two very experienced International fighters.

“It’s busy times ahead and we will have some big news to come.

“It looks like we will have nine pro fights on the card.

“It’ll be a great night of boxing.

“I love the mix we have, not only from featherweights through to heavyweights but we have a mix of great Darling Downs bouts, Queensland bouts and International bouts.

“There will be plenty of entertainment on offer on June 27.”
