Negotiations ‘going really well’ as Hearn puts GGG fight to Froch
WBC interim middleweight Champion Gennady Golovkin could soon be fighting Carl Froch in a blockbuster at Wembley Stadium.
Eddie Hearn, Froch´s promoter, says negotiations are already underway.
“I have personally spoken with Carl and he is really interested in this fight. I just want to be sure he is really motivated as the risk is high. It would be a great bout. Wembley Stadium would be packed out! Negotiations have started and everything is going really well.
Froch hasn’t fought since May 2014, when he defeated George Grooves. He has a record of 33 victories, 24 KO´s and 2 loses.
Golovkin has just defeated Willie Monroe in California. He has an undefeated record of 33 victories with 30 KO´s.
