The unbeaten heavyweight, who is the mandatory challenger with the World Boxing Organisation, urged supporters to ring his mobile number since Wednesday afternoon and seems to be adamant that a deal to fight Klitschko is a formality.
Several of those who were lucky enough to get through to Fury have since reported the former European champion confirming that the fight is agreed for England this year, although nothing has yet been made official either way by Frank Warren or K2.
Klitschko and Fury have been placed in a negotiation period by the WBO since the Ukrainian four-belt champion defeating Bryant Jennings last month and more is expected to be announced on the fight in the near future.
Wembley has been noted by both boxers as a potential venue for the contest in the recent past, with Klitschko keen to branch out to pastures new as his career at the top of the sport winds down. If concluded for London, Klitschko v Fury could rival the massive bout between Carl Froch and George Groves that took place at the famous site in May 2014.
Upwards of 80,000 packed the arena to see two of the UK’s top super middleweights go it, so logic would suggest a similar number could be attracted to see the undisputed world heavyweight championship contested by the number one in the world and a challenging Brit.
