IBF welterweight champion Kell Brook makes an emotional appearance on The Clare Balding Show this week and talks candidly about the machete attack that came close to ending his life.
Brook, 28, was on holiday just weeks after claiming his first world title against Shawn Porter on American soil before he was set upon by a man he described as ‘a psycho’ whilst sitting on the sofa discussing the harrowing incident.
‘The Special One’ is joined on the episode by Matchroom Sport owner Barry Hearn and rugby legend Brian O’Driscoll. The Clare Balding Show goes out this Thursday at 10pm on BT Sport 1 and (a lesser half hour version) on Friday at 10pm on BBC 2
