WBA cruiserweight champion Denis Lebedev and Friday’s challenger Youri Kalenga went face-to-face in an intense staredown as both made weight in Moscow, Russia.
Home fighter Lebedev, 35, defends his title, along with his 26-2 record and weight in 198.6lbs for what will be the third defense of his coveted belt. 27 year-old France-based Congan Kalenga, who has lost just once in 22 contests, came in at 198.8lbs as both boxers looked in peak physical condition.
The pair battle it out in Luzhniki in what on paper seems to be an even match-up.
