Floyd Mayweather hits 150.5lbs at 30-day weight check (photo)
Welterweight and super-welterweight king Floyd Mayweather was at a trim 150.5lbs at the 30 day WBC weight check for his upcoming super-bout with rival Manny Pacquiao.
‘Money’ never usually hovers above much more than 150lbs when soaking wet anyway, so it’s no suprise to see Mayweather on course to be fighting fit on May 2.
The five-weight world champion aims to extend his formidable record to 48-0 against his Filipino nememis next month as the two pound for pound stars move into their final three weeks of preparation.
HBO and Showtime are sharing the TV rights in the US, whilst worldwide coverage has already been distributed and could amount to the clash being worth up to 400 million dollars plus to all involved.
