Wahlberg visits Pacquiao; Mosley plumps for Mayweather
Hollywood star Mark Wahlberg dropped by the Wild Card Boxing Club in Hollywood to check on old pal Manny Pacquiao, who is honing his skills for the May 2 clash with Floyd Mayweather in Las Vegas.
This is not the first time Wahlberg visited Pacquiao while in training, but their meeting was still a memorable one, according to those who were on hand to see the two recall the old times.
Last month, Oscar-winning actor Robert Duvall, known for playing Tom Hagen in The Godfather, also saw Pacquiao train at the gym.
MOSLEY FOR MAYWEATHER
Shane Mosley is the common denominator of Manny Paquiao and Floyd Mayweather.
But Mosley feels Mayweather will emerge triumphant on May 2 when the unbeaten US fighter faces the Filipino icon.
“I am definitely going with Mayweather on this one, although I like Manny personally and wish him the best,” Mosley told ontheropesboxing.com.
“(Mayweather) is generally the best at voiding punches,” added Mosley, who got knocked down by Pacquiao in their 2011 match. After being floored with a left straight that left him cross-eyed in the sixth stanza, Mosley danced his way out of danger.
