Enrique Collazo to fight on Felix Verdejo undercard this month
2012 London Olympian, Enrique ‘Kikin’ Collazo (5-0-1, 5KO’s) will take the ring on Saturday, April 25th at the Coliseo Mario “Quijote” Morales Guaynabo to form part of the undercard will present the first title fight ‘El Diamante’ Felix Verdejo.
“It’s a blessing to fight in Puerto Rico again on a card of this magnitude. It will be great, as my brother and fellow Olympian Felix Verdejo will star with the chance to win his first championship. I’m sure to be an unforgettable night with a full house in Guaynabo,” said the middleweight prospect.
Collazo, who has a new corner led by William Cruz, Jose ‘Che Che’ Sanchez and Lestter Villafañe, is promoted by Gary Shaw Productions and managed by Manuel ‘Quique’ Roman and Jorge Antonetti.
“We’re training really hard. On the night, will see the work that has been done and you will see a more complete ‘Kikin’ in the ring,” said Collazo.
Natural boxer Barrio Obrero will be facing an opponent yet to be announced, this in a six round bout and also in the middleweight division.
The event, presented by Diamond Promotions in association with Top Rank, will highlight Felix ‘El Diamante’ Verdejo in the quest to conquer the Latino lightweight belt of the World Boxing Organization (WBO) against Mexico’s Marco ‘Kua Kua ‘López.
