Grigory Drozd is set to defend his WBC cruiserweight title in a second bout against former champion Krzysztof Wlodarczyk on May 22nd at the Dynamos Sports Palace in Moscow.
The pair last me on September 27th, 2014 in a bout that ended with a wide unanimous decision in favour of the Russian.
Drozd, 35, has lost just once in 40 contests when being stopped by Firat Arslan back in 2006, but has since come back strong with notable successes against Mateusz Masternak and then Wlodarczyk the first time around.
Opponent Wlodarczyk suffered a third career defeat on the night, adding to defeat against Steve Cunningham and Pavel Melkomyan but aims to come back strong and show there is still plenty left in the tank at 33 years of age.
Undercard bouts are set to be announced in the coming weeks.
