Australian boxer SAKIO “THE SCORPION” BIKA will return to the ring on 4th April 2015 to challenge the current WBC Light Heavyweight Champion, Adonis “Superman” Stevenson in Quebec, Canada.

Adonis Stevenson is rated as the best light heavyweight in the world and has not been beaten in the past five years, boasting an impressive record of 25 wins (21 by KO) and only one loss. The bout will be televised on Al Haymon’s “Premier Boxing Champions” series and will be shown live in Australia through Main Event with the telecast starting at 5am on Sunday 5th April 2015.

Sakio has completed his training camp in the US and is focussed on making history.

“Training has gone well, Florida was a fantastic place to train; my preparation for this fight has been perfect, I feel strong and I look forward to testing Adonis,” said Bika.

“I am very confident that I can handle Adonis’ power but can he handle mine? On April 4th, we will see. I will show the world that I belong at Light heavyweight when I strip Adonis of the title and become a two division WBC Champion”

SAKIO BIKA’s career record is 32 wins (21 by KO), 6 loses and 3 draws. SAKIO won the Australian middleweight title, before his victory in Season 3 of the American reality TV show ‘THE CONTENDER’.

He won the IBF Pan Pacific, NABF, WBO Inter-Continental and IBO super-middleweight titles before beating undefeated Mexican Marco Antonio Periban in June 2013 to be crowned the WBC super-middleweight champion of the world.
