Results round-up: Braehmer continues reign at 175; Titles for Giacon and Padilla

The veteran southpaw recorded the 34th stoppage of his impressive career to date as Krasniqi failed to come out for the tenth round following consultation with his corner.

Two-time world champion Braehmer, 36, is now undefeated in seven years on the back of his latest triumph as Krasniqi drops a fourth defeat and a second at world title level on the back of his loss to Nathan Cleverly in 2013.

Elsewhere in Italy, 26 year-old Luca Giacon ended the undefeated run of Belgian Steve Jamoye with a comprehensive points win to pick up the vacant WBC Silver super lightweight title 119-109, 118-109 and 116-111 on the cards.

Over to Mexico and Carlos Padilla took out Emanuel Lopez in the ninth round to claim the interim WBA super featherweight title at the Palenque de la Feria Mesoamericana in Tapachula. Colombian Padilla, 25, is now the first in line to meet the winner of Javier Fortuna v Bryan Vasquez who fight it out for the vacant WBA belt n May 16 in Panama.
