Luis Pabón is the third man for the Kovalev vs Pascal on Saturday.
International referee Luis Pabon will be the third man on the ring of the Bell Centre, in Montreal, Canada, this Saturday March 14 for the World Boxing Association 175 lbs. light heavyweight title fight between the super champion Sergey Kovalev and Jean Pascal.
The judges will be César Ramos (PUR), Zoltan Enyedi (HUN) and Richard Davies (UK), supervisor will be Mike McAleenan (US).
Kovalev (26-0-1, 23 KO’s) defends the belt he won on November 2014 from the North American Bernard Hopkins.
His opponent is the former champion Pascal (29-2-1, 17 KO’s) in his first attempt to win the black and gold belt.
Director Jorge Humberto Klee received Puerta de Oro de Colombia award
Department of the Atlantic of Colombia presented the Colombian Golden Gate Award to Jorge Humberto Klee, journalist and Member of the World Boxing Association directory. The award was given “for having dedicated his life to develop high quality sports journalism”.
The regional government makes the recognition for “more than fifty years devoted to the service of the Atlantic society from the social communication.”
Klee, is member of the WBA Directorate since 1986, and at present fhe is the Appealing Committee Advisor. Congratulations to Klee on this well-deserved recognition.
