Frank Warren presented Championship Boxing from The O2, London in England, sponsored by Rainham Steel and Coral on Saturday night.
Here are selected results from the undercard of Tyson Fury v Christian Hammer:
Bradley Skeete claimed the Vacant WBO European crown with an explosive first round KO win over Georgia’s Anzor Gamgebeli. Skeete pumped out sharp jabs and hard crosses from the start that hurt Gamgebeli and bloodied his nose. A hard right hand dropped Gamgebeli, but he got up and then two further big rights floored him for the full count.
Skeete said afterwards: “It’s great to be back in action again. I refreshed myself over Christmas ready for a big 2015 start. I still believe I won the fight against Frankie Gavin, now it’s just about getting myself to the top again and next time I’d punish Gavin.”
Undefeated prospect Dempsey Fury from the Fury fight factory opens the show with a points win over Lithuanian Ernest Depkas, taking his record to 4-0-0.
Big-hitting Lewis Pettitt dropped Kvaratskhelia three times with powerful body shots to stop the Georgian inside a round.
All-action Boy Jones Jnr. made an exciting pro-debut with a hard-hitting performance over Swindon’s Joe Beedon, mixing hard shots to the body and head.
