World Boxing News will be scoring live on site on Saturday night as two huge world title fights take place in Monaco and Germany respectively.
In the first bout scheduled for around 5pm US / 10pm UK, ‘King’ Arthur Abraham puts his WBO super-middleweight belt on the line for the second time against Briton Paul Smith Jnr in a bid to move on to an all-German clash with Felix Sturm.
Former Contender star Smith, who fought gamely when the two first met last year, will be aiming to upset to the odds and claim a maiden world championship to add to his British version.
Following Abraham v Smith, and set for ring walks at around 5:45pm US / 10:45pm UK, its over to Monte Carlo as the feared Gennady Golokvin battles Martin Murray in defense of his WBA and IBO middleweight titles.
Golovkin has put together one of the most impressive runs of stoppages in boxing today but will meet the toughest test of his career once the first bell rings at the Salles des Etoilles.
Murray has pushed two former world champions all the way in previous attempts to claim a world crown and can count himself unlucky to have a draw and a loss on his record at the hands of Abraham target Sturm and Argentinian Sergio Martinez.
Log on to the WBN website from around 4:45pm US and 9:45pm UK to follow how the fights are scored live.
