Lennox Clarke, Des Bowater weigh-in for Walsall bouts

Undefeated boxers Lennox Clarke and Des Bowater weighed in at Walsall Football Club today ahead of their title fights tomorrow.

Halesowen super middleweight, Clarke (6-0), weighed in at 11st 10lb 8oz. The 23 year-old faces Trowbridge’s Dan Blackwell, who weighed in at 11st 11lb 4oz, over eight three-minute rounds hoping to secure a British Bronze Masters Title.

Stablemate, Bowater (6-0), weighed in at 9st 3lb ahead of his British Bronze Masters Super Featherweight Title showdown. The Wolverhampton super featherweight takes on Leicester’s Lewis ‘2 Slick’ Jones, who weighed in at 9st 3lb 4oz.

The duo appear on Black Country Boxing’s ‘Triple Threat’ three-fight show in the Stadium Suite, Banks’s Stadium, tomorrow (Saturday, 21st February).

Completing ‘Triple Threat’ is Stoke light welterweight, Kieron McLaren (3-0). The 21 year-old takes on Tamworth’s Matt Seawright over six two-minute rounds.
