Mandatory contender, the WBC silver champion George Groves is confirmed and the winner of Dirrell vs. Jack must fight Groves without any intervening fights. The free negotiations period for such mandatory fight will begin immediately on Monday April 26th.
Editor’s note: George Groves has been offered the opportunity to fight old rival James DeGale on the same date for the IBF super-middleweight title but has so far rebuffed all advances from DeGale’s promoter Eddie Hearn as he awaits his next move.
