Just a fortnight after his last bout on January 24th, Gilberto “Zurdo” Ramirez (31-0, 24 KO’s), is determined not to be left out. Diligent Gilberto is right back where he left off in the gym and ready to prepare for his next bout which could be as soon as April.
“Zurdo” Ramirez started 2015 by defeating tough Russian Maxim Vlasov in Broomfield, Colorado, acknowledging he cannot relax for an instant at this stage of his career.
“I’m back in the gym to do some muscle relaxing exercises. We still have no date for the next fight. But we want to be ready for the moment my manager settles a date. In that way, I won’t began my preparation from zero. We also have plenty of time.
“So…Let’s wait to see what happens? My very hard work and constant ambition is to fight, and for that I am going to get ultra well prepared. We want to do great things in boxing, so we want to fight with frequency. That will help us to achieve our goals,” “Zurdo” stressed.
