Ex-heavyweight champ Riddick Bowe selling tweets for $20

The 47 year-old, who lost just once to Evander Holyfield in a 45-fight career before retiring in 2008, made the startling announcement on his account this Tuesday and was instantly replied to with a mixed reaction.

Whilst some asked ‘Big Daddy’ Bowe for his PayPal account details to send him the cash, others were dismissive and slated the two-time world title holder for stooping to low depths in order to obtain money from his loyal fans.

It’s not the first time Bowe has landed himself in it on his social media account as the ex-top division king was reprimanded by Liverpool Football Club fans a year ago for tweeting that he ‘hopes they die.’ Bowe is an avid fan of Liverpool’s arch-rivals Everton and was forced to apologise for his unsavoury outburst which was noted by media on Merseyside at the time.

Joking or not though, these sort of actions will not do anything for Bowe’s reputation.
