Highly-ranked WBC welterweight contender David Avanesyan will fight Beka Sutidze over ten round rounds in the 26 year-old’s UK debut since signing with Vaughan Boxing earlier this year.

The Sadovoye-born fighter is set to be part of Stephen Vaughan’s ‘From Russia with Glove’ card taking place at Titanic in Liverpool on Sunday, December 7 and could be in line to face the winner of Frankie Gavin v Bradley Skeete which happens this weekend in London.

Avanesyan’s bout forms part of a double main event as WBC number 15 middleweight Andrey Meryasev takes on Sebastion Skrypczynski over ten rounds for the WBC Baltic Middleweight Title fresh from his victory over former world champion Carlos Baldomir.

Vladimir Tikhonov will also appear in a six-round super-bantamweight contest, whilst featherweights David Agadzhanyan and Jay Carney both feature over four rounds.

Tikhonov’s opponent has been named as former Commonwealth title challenger Isaac Quaye, whilst is has also been confirmed that he will box for the vacant WBF (Federation) super-bantamweight title in Malta on the next Vaughan boxing show in February.

For Agadzhanyan, Petr Gyna will be in the opposite corner on the night, and for British hope Carney, Patrik Gadzo has stepped in to for what will be his pro debut at the featherweight limit.

This show will be promoted by my new Maltese Company VaughanJK Promotions after Vaughan teamed up with wew Maltese partner Kevin Buttieg.

Buttieg, a keen boxing fan and the owner of real estate agent Remax Malta, has sponsored Vaughan’s recent events in Malta leading to the pair now working much closer together.

The headline fight of the evening has all the makings of a real battle as undefeated Meryasev aims to build on his growing reputation. The Saint Petersburg man has to keep his perfect record intact if he is to continue his path towards the likes of Gennady Golovkin, Miguel Cotto and Martin Murray.

Tickets for the event are selling fast and are £75 including a three-course Christmas Dinner and boxing.

There will also be live music, an auction and entertainment on the night as Vaughan Boxing will be trying to raise money in association with the Oliver King Foundation.

Dinner will be served at 4pm boxing commences 5:30 pm. Call the ticket line on 07789037802 or visitwww.vaughanboxing.tv for more information.
