Fresh fom signing four Russian fighters last month, Stephen Vaughan is ready to unleash his new arrivals in Liverpool on Sunday, December 7 at Titanic Hotel.
Vaughan Boxing are presenting a pre-Christmas feast ‘From Russia with Glove’ – which will also feature young prospect Jay Carney making his professional debut on the bill.
A double main event tops the card as WBC number 15 middleweight Andrey Meryasev takes on Sebastion Skrypczynski over ten rounds for the WBC Baltic Middleweight Title fresh from his victory over former world champion Carlos Baldomir. The 26 year-old puncher is currently 16-0 with 11 stoppages and hails from Saint Petersburg.
In the co-feature, 18-1-1 welterweight David Avanesyan battles an opponent yet to be named as the WBC number 7 aims to improve on recent victories over Ramon de la Cruz Sena and ex-world title holder Kaizer Mabuza.
will also appear in a six-round super-bantamweight contest, whilst featherweights David Agadzhanyan
both feature over four rounds.
What promises to be a an action-packed night of fights will be shown live on Russian TV network The Fighter Channel.
Tickets for the event are £75 and include a three-course Christmas Dinner and boxing. There will also be live music, an auction and entertainment on the night as Vaughan Boxing will be trying to raise money in association with the Oliver King Foundation.
