Klitschko was scheduled for his open workout on Wednesday in Germany, and with Briggs present in the country to take in the fight, it was a certainty that the American would make his presence felt.
Having interupted Klitschko training sessions and press conferences in the past, Briggs got a surprise when security stopped him from entering the media day leaving ‘The Cannon’ to entertain the press outside the venue.
With more dispruptions planned as Klitschko’s fight with Pulev draws near, Briggs may find it tough to gain access with extra security staff on standby.
Briggs has scored six victories since suffering a bad loss to Wladimir’s brother Vitali in 2010 – five of which have come in the first round, and with the elder sibling now retired, the ex-WBO title holder is eyeing revenge against the current top division king.
