Cleverly v Bellew two-city tour, plus Smith Jnr reaction open to public on Wednesday

Nathan Cleverly and Tony Bellew are set to clash in their hotly anticipated rematch at the Echo Arena in Liverpool on November 22, live on Sky Sports – and fight fans can see their first press conferences for the fight in person on Wednesday (October 1).

The pair will come face-to-face for the first time since the fight was confirmed at The ACC Liverpool from midday on Wednesday afternoon. Ahead of that from 11.30am there’s the chance to welcome home Paul Smith after his fantastic performance in Germany at the weekend where he challenged Arthur Abraham for the WBO Super Middleweight title – he’ll be reacting to the result and talking about his future plans alongside promoter Eddie Hearn.

We move from Liverpool to Cardiff for the evening press conference on Cleverly’s home patch, starting at 6pm at the City Hall. Ahead of Cleverly and Bellew addressing fans and media in Wales, Lee Selby will discuss his final eliminator for the IBF Featherweight title against Joel Brunker at The O2 on October 11.
