Omar Chavez and Ramon Alvarez went through the final press conference rituals on Thursday as the light-middleweights prepare for their Mexican boxing ‘family clash’ on Saturday night.
The pair collide at the Arena Jorge Cuesy Serrano in Chiapas in what is seen as the next best fight to their brothers Julio Cesar Chavez and Saul Alvarez actualy sharing the ring.
WBO NABO title holder Chavez, 24, is currently the more experienced at 32-2-1, with 22 KO’s as the older challenger Alvarez at 28 years of age brings a 19-4-2 record with 12 early finishes.
