Night of Shocks: Shane Mosley Jr, Scott Jenkins and Young Fury suffer defeats

Fighting for the third time in his career and boasting a one hundred percent knockout record, the 23 year-old was widely expected to breeze past Adkins and add another victory at the Celebrity Theater.

Things didn’t work out that way for the son of a legend though as Mosley went down to a four-round split points defeat 39-37 twice and 37-39. The young fighter now faces a tough rebuilding job with his famous father.

In another shock, this time in the UK, 13-0, 7 KO Scott Jenkins was put on the canvas and stopped by 3-2-1 Jan Holec, a fighter that had only previously scored one early finish in his career.

Jenkins, also 23, was on the verge of fighting for domestic titles when Holec pull off the shock reverse, but may now look for an immediate rematch to rectify the result at the Ponds Forge Arena in Sheffield.

Earlier in the night, Tyson Fury’s younger brother and heavyweight prospect Young Fury lost in his second pro fight against Henry Smith after previously scoring a stoppage win on his debut.
