Former world champion Anthony Mundine announced that he wil face European light-middleweight title holder Sergey Rabchenko at a press confernece in Australia on Wednesday.
The veteran fighter, who recently lost to Joshua Clotty in a one-sided affair, gets the chance to redeem himself and claim the WBC silver title at 154lbs in the process.
Mundine, 39, has a tough assignment in front of him though against the undefeated 28 year-old, who is currently the number one contender to Floyd Mayweather Jr at the weight.
Rabchenko has 18 stoppages from his 25 wins and is currently represented by boxing legend Ricky Hatton. The Belarussian has never been afraid to travel and will now head to Melbourne on November 12.
