Mayweather, 37, posted the checks from his last two fights to his fans in Friday having made over $70 million dollars in basic fees for his victories against Canelo Alvarez and Marcos Madiana in September and May respectively.
Currently holding four belts at two different weight divisions and holding a record of 46-0, the outspoken Mayweather is by far the biggest draw in the sport and doesn’t mind letting people know about it.
“Read this $72,276,000.00. God bless,” posted Mayweather.
Despite being mocked in the media by ex-friends Nelly and 50 Cent, Mayweather has come out fighting by posting up the pictures of his earnings, which equate to almost $41 million for the Alvarez bout and just over $30 million for Maidana.
Named by Forbes as the highest earning sports star on the planet, Mayweather has little to worry about in life and comments about his lack of education led to the distinct ‘Read This’ statement as boxing’s main star prepares for another lucrative outing on September 13.
A rematch with Maidana, worth even more than the first to Mayweather, is just three weeks away and who would be against the American pocketing a 47th victory to sit alongside another mammoth paycheck.
