The 61 year-old, who revealed the news of her gender swap in the British tabloids last Sunday, is reported to be earning a whopping £400,000, more than any other contestant in the past – to be the show’s main participant.
Maloney made her first appearance on television when interviewed on Good Morning Britain in midweek, but will now be on screens over a three-week period as the show follows on from the recent Big Brother 2014 regular series.
Joining the ex-handler of undisputed heavyweight champion Lennox Lewis, will be Olympic gold medallist at super-heavyweight, Audley Harrison who is putting rumours of a comeback on hold to take part in the programme.
Harrison’s professional career never really took off after his standout amateur exploits at the 2000 games in Sydney, and the 42 year-old will now attempt to win over public’s hearts alongside Maloney.
Also pencilled in to be on the Channel 5 show are Kelly Brook’s fiancée David McIntosh, TOWIE star Lauren Goodger, Strictly’s James Jordan and Gogglebox coach potato George Gilbey.
