Frankie Gavin and Leonard Bundu go head-to-head in Birmingham (video)

European welterweight champion Leonard Bundu went eyeball-to-eyeball with favoured opponent Frankie Gavin on Wednesday ahead of their contest at Wolverhampton Civic Hall on Friday.

Bundu, 39, faces 28 year-old former amateur world champion Gavin on the back of his December win over Lee Purdy and will aim to push record to 33 undefeated despite underdog status. Gavin is widely tipped as a future world title holder due to his exploits with the headguard and vest, although Bundu represents the home fighter’s toughest test to date.
