The weigh-in for Top Rank’s ‘Champions of Gold’ event in Macao, China took place on Friday as Olympic legend Zou Shiming continues his speedy run towards a world title.
Double gold medallist Shiming, 33, is wasting no time in making the step-up to ten rounds on the back of scoring four straight victories since turning pro just over a year ago.
Luis De La Rosa will be the Chinese superstar’s opponent at the Cotai Arena as the pair compete for a fringe version of the WBO title and a healthy rankings boost.
Also on the bill, WBN World Title Prospect of 2012 Gilberto Sanchez Ramirez aims to extend his unbeaten run, whilst super-bantamweight king Guillermo Rigondeaux puts his WBO and WBA titles on the line.
