The two welterweights were in New York on Monday to begin a round of press appearances to promote their upcoming rematch on September 13 at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas.
Back in May, Maidana was defeated by Mayweather via a majority decision, although ‘Chino’ pushed the five-weight world title holder harder than expected and earned his second chance in the fall.
