Crusierweights Wadi Camacho and Stephen Simmons kept the fans highly entertained at Thursday’s weigh-in for their upcoming grudge match on the Ricky Burns undercard in Glasgow.

Since the two engaged in a Twitter spat, there has been no loved lost between the two fighters who have had to be restrained on more than one occasion when both are in attendance.

Following the scaling, where Camacho weighed in 14st 2lbs (198lbs) and Simmons came in at 14st 3lb 10oz (119,10lbs), their rivaly became physical as the restraint shown at Wednesday’s press conference faltered.

Simmons began the scuffle by moving in with his head whilst trash talking, although Camacho came back with a shove to the neck before the pair were split apart.

It all adds to the intense atmosphere that surrounds the compatriots and all will be settled tomorrow night when the first bell rings at the Braehead Arena.

Ricky Burns v Dejan Zlaticanin, featuring the British and Commonwealth light-welterweight titles fight between Curtis Woodhouse v Willie Limond, along with the 12 round cruiserweight clash involving Stephen Simmons v Wadi Camacho goes out live Friday night on Sky Sports 3 from 8pm BST. Also available in HD.
